2nd Annual Plant Giveaway
Sunday, 30 May 2010, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

• Where: South West corner of Christie Pits Park beside Bloor (Next to Banjara Restaurant)
• When: This Sunday May 30th from 11am to 3pm
• What: We have more plants than we can handle this year so we're giving away lots of healthy TOMATOES, PEPPERS, CABBAGE, BROCCOLI and more
• How: We are also accepting small donations for the plants to support the Christie Pits Community Garden

Rain date: Sunday June 6th.

Official Work Times
Tuesdays after 6p.m. and Sundays after 11a.m.

If you can't make the ground breaking, please feel free to start gardening when you are able. While your plots will need regular watering and tending, we encourage everyone who can to come out on Tuesday evenings after 6p.m. and Sundays after 11a.m. to work in the communal areas, share ideas and talk with members of the Steering committee. The shed is guaranteed to be open during these times. Keeping up the communal areas is a lot of work and many hands make light work. As with last year, veggies from the communal area will be donated to community kitchens.
